Abstract

The digital village initiative that is supported by the Indonesian Government is closely related to the development and utilization of digital infrastructure to improve people's welfare. In this study, we present the development and implementation of a village information system to support digital village initiatives in XYZ Ward, Batam. These systems include a civil registration system and a public complaint reporting system aimed to improve service delivery and communication between the government and the public. The Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method, specifically waterfall method, was used to develop the system, and using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to evaluate people's acceptance towards the system. The evaluation yielded promising results with a score of 85% strongly agreeing with the usefulness of the systems, 88% strongly agreeing with the systems’ ease of use, and 86% accepting the use of the systems overall in their daily lives. The study concludes that digital village community systems can contribute to improving government services and suggest future research to support similar initiatives in other areas

Abstract

Customer Service is a job whose main task is to be a direct liaison between the company and its customers. Every company needs customer service in order to launch its business journey. Therefore, customer service has an important role in improving the sales quality of the company, whether selling goods, services or whatever business the company is running. In choosing a quality customer service it will be very difficult if it is done manually because it can result in incorrect decisions because the choices that are selected manually are not guaranteed. To overcome these problems, a computerized system is needed to select service customers. A good system used is a decision support system. A decision support system is a system that has been used by many people in making elections or making decisions that have a large number of alternatives. In this study the method used is the SAW method and the WP method. The weighting method used is the ROC method. These three methods are used because this method is a method that can be used easily and the results obtained have accurate and reliable results. Based on the results of calculations using the SAW method, a value of 0.9843 is obtained as an alternative to A2 on behalf of Verawati as the best alternative. While calculations using the WP method obtained a value of 0.2473 as an alternative to A2 on behalf of Verawati as the best alternative

Abstract

AbstractConditions of air temperature and air humidity as well as  feeding for cats are some of the important elements difficult to monitor by cat keepers when they are not home. As a result, the cats’ feeding pattern and room conditions are not properly maintained. In this research, a system named smart cat room was built to monitor and control the air temperature, air humidity, food residue, and the amount of cat food. The types of cats in this research were Maine Coon, Bengal, and Persian. With this system, users can monitor and control the smart cat room through an Android-based application. The result of the testing of the smart cat room system had an average air temperature value for Maine Coon cats of 25.31°C and an air humidity value of Maine Coon cats is 62.90%. Average air temperature value for Bengal cats is 27.49°C and the air humidity value of Bengal cats is 62.33%. The average value of air temperature for Persian cats is 22.17°C and the air humidity value of Persia cats is 59.05%. According to the results, the smart cat room system shows that the average value of air temperature, air humidity are as according to the standards, with the cats’ skin and fur conditions inside the smart cat room well-maintained. Feeding can also be done at the right time and weight according to the type of cat in the Smart Cat Room

Abstract

Ledimart is a mini market that sells daily necessities. Ledimart is located in Pangkalan Kerinci District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau. The problem faced by the Ledimart minimarket is that this minimarket does not know when is the right time to carry out a promotion. To overcome these problems, this study conducted Association Rule Mining (ARM), in order to find out the relationship between the time of purchase and the goods purchased. The ARM algorithm used is the FP-Growth Algorithm. Based on the experimental results in December 2021, 6 rules were obtained, in January 2022, 6 rules were obtained, and in Ramadan 2022, 12 rules were obtained. By knowing this pattern, it is hoped that it can help Ledimart know when it is the right time to carry out promotions

Abstract

This research aims to build an Android application that uses Augmented Reality (AR) technology as a learning aid about the Solar System. The teaching methods currently used in grade 6 are considered less effective by many students because they use only explanatory theory textbooks and few simple media for practice. Therefore, this AR application is designed to blend virtual objects with physical objects naturally through a computerized process, so that it looks as if the virtual object is actually in front of the user and looks real. The purpose of this research is to develop an AR application that can increase the effectiveness of Solar System learning by providing students with an immersive visual experience. The development method used in this study is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC). Application testing is carried out using Black Box Testing to ensure that all application features can run properly according to their functions. The pre-test results showed an average of 57, while the post-test results showed a significant increase with an average of 88. This shows that the use of AR applications in Solar System learning can significantly improve students' understanding. Thus, this AR application is considered an effective and efficient learning medium and is very interesting for users to use as a learning tool. The use of AR technology in learning can provide interactive and immersive learning experiences, increasing students' interest and understanding of the Solar System

Abstract

The rapid development of information technology makes easier for human accessing and exchanging information through digital media like websites. Since 2019, Badan Pengelola Usaha Universitas Sriwijaya started developing student dormitories booking system, namely Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa. This system can be accessed by Sriwijaya University students via bpu.unsri.ac.id. The types of dormitories shown in this feature consist of apartments, flats, and government dormitories. Based on interviews, it was stated that users still had difficulty accessing Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa, especially in user interface and user experience, so it was necessary to improve interface design with aim of making it easier for users to find information and book dorm room. Design improvement of Fitur Asrama Mahasiswa bpu.unsri.ac.id interface carried out through design process usingUser Centered Design (UCD) approach, so thataccommodate user needs. Design process begins with commitment from bpu unsri to involve users in design process through discussion. Then, determine the context of use through interviews, determine user needs and organizational needs through usability testing and interviews, interface designs based on user needs, and evaluate designsthrough usability testing. Using the UCD approach proven that system usability increased which consists of four parameters, namely success rate, efficiency, error rate, and satisfaction. Success rate increased from 52.86% to 94.76%. Efficiency increased from 45.12% to 96.05%. The error rate decreased from 50.12% to 3.69&. Satisfaction increased from 32.5 to 87.33

Abstract

Online transportation is an innovation in emerging technology to solve various problems that arise in conventional public transportation such as in the ease of ordering, availability, and digitization of payments. Maxim is an online transportation company that has been operating since 2018 in Indonesia. As the number of users of the maxim application increases, demands for the quality of application service also increase. In the Google Play Store, reviews and information about an app are stored in text form. One of the processes of extracting text mining information in the text category is Sentiment Analysis to see the tendency of a sentiment or opinion whether it is positive, neutral, or negative at the Maxim application user reviews. The sentiment classification process using the K-NN algorithm produces accuracy, precision, and recall of 90.23%; 90.23%; and a recall value of 72.38% with an experiment using 90% training data, 10% test data, and a value of k = 5.

Abstract

Grape vines are plants that can grow well in lowland areas, especially coastal areas. The very hot weather climate is an inhibiting factor in the growth of grape vines. So it is necessary to help greenhouse media technology with the application of the Internet of Things (IoT) to create the desired conditions in an effort to protect plants as well as temperature and humidity conditions that can attack grape plants, adjusting the parameters needed. Vine testing parameters include air temperature, air humidity and soil moisture. In the system that has been created, the system will monitor the conditions of air temperature, air humidity and soil moisture. In addition, the system will manually and automatically control the fan, mist maker and pump according to predetermined values. The results of the sensor test show an accuracy for air temperature of 95.36%. The result of the test for air humidity is 88.67%. The result of the capacitive soil moisture sensor test for soil moisture is 99.85%.
